About Me

About Me

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I worked in social services for 17 years, facilitating the inclusion of children and families in their communities. I developed a keen interest in the human spirit, challenges, accomplishments and celebrations, and along with my own positive experience with self discovery came forward a natural path of psychotherapy.

My approach is one filled with compassion, integrity, and dignity. The direction is client-focused, using talk therapy and a variety of modalities to pursue your own self discovery. I am extremely passionate about psychotherapy and believe that everyone is continuously learning. I am a member in good standing of the Canadian Professional Counselors Association, having completed my studies at the Transformational Arts College.

About Collaborative Minds

As I began to develop my practice, I sought after a name that reflected the process of therapy. I aim to convey a message of understanding and compassion with the ultimate goal of working together, in a collective and mutual manner. It is very important for me to create a sacred place for clients to feel comfortable knowing that they can seek assistance and search for meaningful change.

Collaborative Minds was founded in 2006, with the intention of helping people of all ages and all backgrounds with overcoming their struggles to lead a more enriching life.
